PropsFeed (propsfeed.com) is a personal, non-commercial project operated from Belgium. It shows sports statistics and results, is free to use, and requires no account. We aim to collect as little data as possible — this page explains exactly what is and isn't processed.
PropsFeed is operated by a private individual based in Belgium (the "controller" under the EU General Data Protection Regulation). For any privacy question or request, contact: info@propsfeed.com.
Server logs. Like almost every website, our web server automatically records technical logs: your IP address, browser type (user agent), the pages you request, the referring page and a timestamp. We use these logs to keep the site secure (detecting abuse, rate limiting) and to count visitors in aggregate. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are automatically deleted after 14 days. Aggregated visitor counts (numbers only, no IP addresses) are kept longer.
Anonymous usage counters. When you open an athlete's page, we count that view to power the "most viewed" section. This counter stores only the sport and the athlete — no IP address, no identifier, nothing that links the view to you.
Storage on your own device. Your watchlist and a one-time "seen the intro page" flag are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.
Athlete photos, country flags and circuit images are loaded directly from external providers, such as ESPN's image servers, flagcdn.com, TheSportsDB and Wikimedia. When your browser fetches those images, your IP address is technically visible to that provider, as with any image on the web. We choose established providers and load nothing else from third parties (no scripts, no trackers).
Error monitoring. When something breaks on our server, a technical error report (stack trace, requested URL, timestamp) is sent to Sentry, an error-monitoring service, on servers in the European Union. These reports are configured to contain no IP addresses and no personal data; they exist purely so we can fix problems quickly.
The website runs on a server in Paris, France (European Union), operated by hosting provider Hostinger. Server logs stay on that server and are not transferred elsewhere.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase personal data concerning you, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Practical note: because we keep no accounts and logs are only linked to IP addresses for 14 days, there is usually very little we can look up about you — but you can always ask via info@propsfeed.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Belgium that is the Data Protection Authority ( gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be); you may also contact the authority of your own EU country.
If the site ever changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example if accounts are introduced), this policy will be updated first and the date at the top will change.
